Information you send us
When you use a form on this site, we receive what you enter:
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number, project details, and any files you attach.
- Careers form: your contact details, resume, and any work samples or links you provide.
If you call or email us directly, we keep that correspondence as part of normal business records.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to plan, quote, and carry out design work you ask us about.
- To consider you for work with us, if you sent a resume. We keep resumes on file so we can reach out when there is a fit.
- To keep business records we are required or expected to keep.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only when needed to do your project, for example with your builder, a surveyor, or an engineer, and only with your knowledge.
Services that process data for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions and attached files on our behalf.
- Google Analytics measures how visitors use the site. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We see this as statistics, not as individual visitors. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that contact and careers form submissions come from a person, not a spam bot. To do that, Google collects information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the page. Google’s use of this information is covered by its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and project files for as long as they are useful for the project and our business records. We keep resumes until you ask us to remove them or they are no longer relevant.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@empyrealhomedesign.com or call (231) 252-2537 and we will take care of it, unless we are required to keep a record.
Children
This site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
